Convenient for some stores
I've used Zip a few times for small things and it generally works fine. It's nice to split up payments, especially when a store offers it directly at checkout. However, it's not available everywhere I shop, which limits its usefulness. It's a decent option to have in my back pocket, but I don't go out of my way to use it.

It's okay, but be careful
Zip.co was useful for a couple of bigger purchases I needed to break up into chunks. The interest-free part is great, but sometimes I felt like the payment reminders weren't as prominent as they could be. Almost missed a payment once, which would've stunk. Customer service was fine when I reached out, nothing amazing but got the job done.
