Vinted has discontinued so many shops (only pick up remaining) that it makes it rather useless to sell through Vinted. Shame.

Awful customer service
Awful customer service from this platform. Happy to make money from you, as soon as there is the slightest issue, they completely turn their back on you and just piling at T’s & C’s. Item I shipped was damaged in transit, they refunded the buyer and told me it was my fault. No help to retrieve, no compensation, nothing! Utter shambles. Also, Skander is not professional, to be honest, utterly incompetent in his position.

Sold an item on their website
Sold an item on their website, buyer stated it was damaged on receipt, they appear to be taking his side, but I did not and do not sell damaged items! They do not support the seller at all!

High Fees and Platform Encourages Fraud
I have spent over 5,000 EUR on the platform. I have only 5 star reviews. I have received the wrong item twice, and I wasn't refunded. I have received broken items in shipping and I wasn't refunded. The platform charges a fee for what is essentially FB marketplace and then covers absolutely nothing. No shipping insurance. No counterfeit insurance. Nothing at all except making the buyer and seller fight for their money. Sellers can list a Chanel dress and mail you a 50kg bag of rocks, and Vinted will ask for you to pay the cost of returning the rocks, regardless of the seller's reputation or proof. The buyer should not be responsible, or the platform should be free like Facebook or Craigslist or Gumtree. Worse, they send all complaints to a cheap chatbot without any context window.

First seller, Unfairly Treated of selling a…
VinTed accused me of selling a counterfeit item and refuse to say why it was deemed counterfeit. I forward an email of inquiry and before they received my second email, they had already closed my account. In their policy they state that an account can be closed for committing counterfeit sales multiple times but I was a first time custome r who purchased the item, unaware of any counterfeit doings. I did not ever receive any notification as to why they deemed my posted item counterfeit. I was considered guilty for an item. I myself purchased but had never used. They appear to treat the customer unfairly. Very poor customer service.

They restrict or ban accounts without warning
I'd leave zero stars if I could. I was posting my items, modeling some of them. Vinted AI bots deemed those were stock pictures and restricted my account... Even though I appealed and sent a copy of my passport to prove it was ME on the pictures. Nobody reads or check what you send to costumer service. You only get canned responses. use that app at your OWN risk.

Parcel damaged and no customer support
Sold a dress on vinted which cost over £100 and had been worn once. Shipped to the buyer using evri and recieved no tracking updates for a month. Assuming the parcel had been lost I notified the seller and had to wait several weeks to be able to dispute. 2 days before the deadline for dispute, I then received an update that the parcel was unable to be delivered and would be returned to me. Confused as I was under the impression the parcel was lost due to a month of no interaction, my parcel was eventually returned to me. I found my mailing back ripped open and poorly taped back together. I pulled the dress out of the bag only to find the bag and my dress full of dirt, birdseed, wrappers and a dead insect. My dress also now has a large blue stain on the inside of the fabric, which was in perfect/new condition when I sent out. I took photos of the condition and raised and inquiry with vinted. They took a week to even acknowledge my complaint and asked for further evidence (which I sent) another week later I contacted again asking for an update for them to cancel the transaction and inform me that my packaging was “insufficient”. The “insufficient” packaging in question was a plastic mailing bag that I have used for over 100 other sold items. I know have a damaged item, lost my sale and am extremely frustrated.
