Fantastic crew and experience
Fantastic crew and experience! Don Julio was so fun. Food, music and experience was top notch. Highly recommend and would definitely do it again.

Great choice to take hop on/hop off tour.
We booked the Liverpool hop on/hop off tour. The booking was very easy. The hop on/hop off is a perfect choice for small city like Liverpool. They have audio or tour guide on the bus explaining each stop. It’s a good idea you stay on the bus to the entire route if you are first time visitor. After the first route, then you can choose which stops you want to get off to explore more. We just took the hop on/hop off yesterday. I highly recommend it. Don’t need to waste money hiring a private guide.

Great 2hr private tour for 2 adults
We had two young men I believe one was called Diego and the other one was called James all the Portuguese name for James anyway. It was a very good two hour journey it was informative chilled out experience. We had the two person private tour which is really worth paying the extra money for because you really do get a private experience and it's very relaxed. You can nothear other noisy tourists chatting and bragging about how brilliant they are.

A worthwhile guided-tour
The wait at the tour office could be a bit better organised. The tour guide is quite knowledgeable and speaks in a very clear voice and at a speed comfortable for non-English native speakers.

Very disappointing experience with Viator due to what appears to be serious overbooking and poor coordination with local operators.
We had a confirmed booking (paid and booked weeks in advance) for a shared punting tour in Cambridge for eight people, which was cancelled on the morning of the experience with only a few hours’ notice. This was extremely disruptive, particularly as we had visitors who had travelled a long way and were relying on this booking. After speaking directly with Rutherford’s Punting (the tour operator), we were informed that they regularly provide Viator with up-to-date availability specifically to avoid this situation. Despite this, it appears bookings are still being taken in excess of what the operator can accommodate. This suggests a clear breakdown in how Viator is managing availability through its platform. The reason we went with Viator was due to the discount available via UNiDAYS. As a direct result of the cancellation, we were forced to rebook at very short notice with another provider at a cost of £203.00, compared to our original £150.20 booking – an additional £52.80. While a refund was issued, this did not cover the extra cost or the stress caused. To be clear: The issue was not with Rutherford’s on the day – they were helpful and trying to manage a situation beyond their control. The problem lies with Viator’s handling of bookings and apparent failure to respect operator capacity. Cancelling on the morning of the experience is unacceptable and shows a lack of regard for customers’ plans. Irrespective of the terms and conditions, this experience felt fundamentally unfair and poorly managed. Accepting bookings that cannot be fulfilled and cancelling at the last minute, places all the risk and inconvenience on the customer, even if it does include a discount (I do wonder if UNiDAYS would even approve of this poor customer service). I would strongly advise booking directly with local operators like Rutherford Punting rather than relying on Viator’s platform.
