    I paid NameHero $3,246.12 for a 3-year…

    I paid NameHero $3,246.12 for a 3-year VPS hosting plan for my WooCommerce grocery business expecting reliable premium hosting and professional support. Instead, over the next 11 months, I experienced repeated downtime, server instability, unresolved performance problems, and technical recommendations that consistently resulted in additional costs without solving the underlying issues. The problems began less than two weeks after migrating to their platform. Over the following months, my website experienced outages, CPU spikes, database errors, slowdowns, and intermittent failures. In one documented incident, my website was offline for over 8 hours due to a DNS misconfiguration that NameHero later acknowledged in writing was caused by their own oversight. Every time issues occurred, the solution from support was almost always another paid product, upgrade, or additional service recommendation instead of properly identifying and permanently resolving the root cause. I upgraded servers based on their advice, spent additional money following their recommendations, and still continued experiencing the same instability afterward. At one point, I was advised to upgrade to one of their highest VPS plans because they claimed it was necessary for my website’s resource requirements. Later, the same support process led to recommendations for additional services again. It increasingly felt like the focus was on selling products rather than actually fixing the infrastructure problems affecting my business. The most important fact is this: after 11 months of instability, I migrated the exact same WordPress and WooCommerce website to another hosting provider using significantly lower server resources. Since migrating away from NameHero, the website has operated normally without the outages and recurring problems I experienced on their platform. Based on my experience, I do not believe their infrastructure and support architecture were capable of reliably supporting my business despite the premium pricing and repeated upgrade recommendations. After presenting all evidence, ticket history, invoices, and documented outages to NameHero, their team approved a prorated refund of $2,238.74 in writing and requested my PayPal details for payment. After I provided the requested information, the refund approval was later reversed and replaced with account credit for services I had already stopped using. I understand that technical issues can happen with any hosting company. My frustration comes from the repeated instability, temporary fixes, contradictory guidance, upselling without permanent resolution, prolonged communication gaps during outages, and the reversal of a refund that had already been formally approved in writing.

Despite the account being well outside the refund eligibility period, our team still reviewed the matter extensively and offered a prorated account credit as a goodwill resolution.
