The tech was really helpful in finding the right provider
The tech was really helpful in listening to my concerns and confusion around electric bills/business/choices here in North Texas. I was overwhelmed with the process and he really helped to find something that is going to work for my family without all the fluffy confusing terms the companies seem to use.

A bit confusing, but helpful eventually
I appreciate having all the options in one place, but the filters felt a little clunky to use. Some of the plan details were also a bit vague initially, and I had to click through to the actual provider's site to get the full picture. It took more digging than I expected, but I did find a better rate in the end, so there's that.

Disappointed with the 'savings'
I used ChooseTexasPower hoping to find a great deal for my new apartment. The rates they showed seemed good, but after signing up, I noticed a lot of hidden fees and charges on my first bill that weren't obvious from the comparison. It ended up being barely better than my old rate, and the whole experience felt like a waste of time. I really expected more transparency.

Honestly, I was dreading comparing all the different electricity plans in Texas. This site made it so much easier. I plugged in my info, saw a bunch of options clearly laid out, and ended up switching providers. Saved about $25 a month, which is real money. Super straightforward process.
