Great Mount For Car
I've ordered several Carmount phone mount options and have not been disappointed. Specifically, the mounts are very strong and keep my phone held securely in place. The more modern versions allow for even more flexibility. On my most-recent order, I made an error on the number of items ordered, but Charlie was quick to respond and to get my order corrected before it was shipped. I recommend this company, their products, and customer service.

The vacuum car mount is absolutely useless
The vacuum car mount is absolutely useless. I’ve tried using it on dash, windshield, side window and it will hold for about 3 minutes at best. Waste of money! Would give it a zero if it was available.

This mount relies heavily on creating a proper vacuum seal, so installation makes all the difference. The most common reason it doesn’t hold is due to a small amount of air getting in during setup. For best results, make sure the surface is completely clean and flat, then press the mount down firmly while locking it at the same time - that pressure is what creates a strong, lasting seal. If the surface is dusty, slightly textured, or the mount wasn’t pressed with enough force, it can cause it to release after a few minutes - exactly like you described. A quick tip as well: if the suction base has picked up any dirt, rinsing it and drying it (warm air works best) can restore its grip back to full strength. Bought original Carmount which was great but then bought the Clutch x for my Jeep which is absolutely terrible
Doesn't hold for more then a few days. The return system is terrible because there are multiple companies that make the same product so they probably share the same warehouse. They make you return it to Europe where the cost outweighs the benefits. So beware if you are ordering thinking it's a guaranteed satisfaction situation. You don't get much in return if anything when they fail and Clutch X is like the original only holds well to flat surfaces.

No information available on orders not shipping
Placing an order with this company is a black hole. No updates for days. Emails inquiring go unanswered. It looks like all I can do is stop my credit card from paying them and go to Best Buy and buy something else. Do not order from this company!

Misleading advertising/ poor return policy
The advertising for the product is misleading. They show it sticking to a screen, and easily putting it on a gym mirror. This is wrong. It has a very sticky back. The "lock" feature is not the primary feature that sticks it. While they offer "easy" returns, it's a lie. While customer service did get back to me in a timely fashion, you have to send it to Estonia! I live in the US. The cost to ship, which I would have to pay, would be more than the cost of the product itself, for a 100% refund.

Huge scam
Huge scam. Product does not work as advertised - and completely misleading customer service. They advertise a phone number that only says “we only accept emails” when you call.

Poor Customer Service
I have bought from Carmount before and love their product. I got a new phone, needed new accessories, so decided on Carmount again. I ordered supplies early December and now it is late January and still haven't received item. I contacted their customer service on 3 separate occasions and waited a week to two weeks in between each correspondence to give them time to reply, and nothing. So, no response and no items.

They don't honour their return b fee policy
Within 5 minutes of order I asked by email for part of the other to be cancelled, in line with their policy. I was told that this was not possible. On receipt, I was told to post the items back overseas at my cost, or keep the items for a 25% discount. Option 1 is unreasonable due to the above.

Absolute joke. I ordered before Christmas and still haven’t received my order. They keep promoting a liquidation sale which suits because the way they do business they won’t last long. Don’t buy from here!!!

Carmount is the WORST company I’ve ever…
Carmount is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Customer service is horrible and is very slooooow to respond to complaints. Tried to return items, at my expense, to Estonia, using their instructions. Would routinely check status, with only a “still in transit “ response. FIVE MONTHS LATER, the package is returned to me because it was NEVER PICKED UP by Carmount!

Our customer support team has been responsive to your earlier emails; however, for returns, they are required to wait for confirmation from our warehouse team that the returned items have been received before a refund can be requested. Unfortunately, while a package is still in transit, there is very little our support team can do until the warehouse confirms receipt. Regarding the returned package, our warehouse did not receive any notification that a package required pickup. Under normal circumstances, returned parcels are delivered directly to the return address without issue. Without a carrier notification or delivery attempt, the warehouse would not have been aware that action was needed. We also apologize for the delayed response to your most recent inquiry.
