My experience with Accent Advisor was bad
My experience with Accent Advisor was unfortunately disappointing. The advisor I was paired with lacked professionalism and patience, which is especially concerning for a service designed to help people improve their pronunciation. Whenever I struggled to pronounce something correctly, the advisor's reaction was visibly negative — the opposite of the encouragement you'd expect from a language coach. This made the sessions feel stressful rather than supportive, and it discouraged me from practicing freely. Additionally, when I needed to skip a scheduled session, the advisor became pushy and pressured me to reschedule rather than simply respecting my decision. That kind of behavior crosses a professional boundary and felt uncomfortable. A service like this should foster a safe, patient, and non-judgmental environment for learners. Unfortunately, that was not the experience I had. I would not recommend Accent Advisor based on my time with the platform.
